Development
Responsible for a series of key projects, you’ll receive a hands-on, structured approach to your on and off the job training. Supported, guided and developed by Toyota Manufacturing UK members, every day will test your planning, problem solving and reporting skills.
Typical projects could include anything from reducing plant air leakage to managing electricity use, plant auditing to stock delivery and control.
We take our responsibilities seriously and our training will provide you with a great platform for the future. During the placement year you will receive training in presentation skills, personal planning and safety awareness training. Furthermore, you will receive constructive appraisals three times during the year based around project objectives, behavioural skills and overall performance.
We expect you to perform to your absolute potential, learning quickly and getting the best out of an environment designed for progress. All of this will culminate in a presentation to our senior management team at the end of your placement illustrating how you’ve added value to Toyota during the year. With the possibility of the best of our 11-month Placement Programme being invited back after their degrees for opportunities as graduate trainees.
