No, whilst we appreciate additional effort undertaken to achieve higher grades, our selection decision is based on the results of the recruitment process, which is tailored to meet our specific requirements.
Back to top - What makes Toyota Manufacturing UK’s Apprenticeship programme different to others?
Firstly, we ensure that you fully understand your future job and what working life is like in a busy manufacturing environment by giving you an early opportunity to practically experience both production and maintenance before you start the main technical skills development phase. Secondly you are given support at all times through the training scheme by skilled and experienced Toyota members and partner college trainers – you will have regular ‘1-1’ meetings where you and the training staff will review your progress and give you feedback on your performance. ‘Classroom’ technical knowledge and skill alone is not sufficient – we include personal development and the opportunity to practically improve your skills throughout the training programme.
Back to top - Is there an opportunity to look around the Plant during the recruitment process?
If successful a full plant tour is included in our induction process. It is not possible to tour the plant during the recruitment phase however we will be showing video both of the plant and of the role of maintenance during the test sessions.
